DocSend is a document sharing platform that tracks when people view your files. To use it, you need to log in to your account.

How to log into DocSend
Go to docsend.com and click "Sign In" in the top right corner.
You have three options:
- Sign in with Google
- Sign in with email
- Sign in with SSO (for enterprise accounts)
Enter your credentials and click "Sign In."
That's it. You're now in your DocSend dashboard.
Common login problems
Forgot your password
Click "Forgot password?" on the login page. Enter your email address. DocSend will send you a reset link. The link expires in 24 hours.
Can't access your account
This usually happens for three reasons:
- Your trial expired - DocSend free trials last 14 days. After that, you need to pay.
- Your admin removed you - If you're on a team account, check with your admin.
- Wrong email - Make sure you're using the email you signed up with.
Two-factor authentication issues
If you enabled 2FA and can't access your authenticator app:
- Click "Having trouble?" on the 2FA screen
- Use one of your backup codes
- If you don't have backup codes, contact DocSend support
DocSend account types
Personal Account - Just you, basic features, starts at $15/month
Standard Team - Multiple users, shared spaces, $65/month for 3 users
Advanced Team - Custom branding, advanced security, $250/month

Accessing DocSend on mobile
DocSend doesn't have a mobile app. You use the mobile browser.
Go to docsend.com on your phone browser. The mobile site works the same as desktop. You can view documents but editing is limited.
Team vs personal login
If you're part of a team, your login experience is different:
Team members see shared spaces and team documents after login.
Personal users only see their own documents.
To switch between personal and team accounts, click your profile icon and select "Switch accounts."
Single sign-on (SSO)
Enterprise customers can use SSO. This means you log in with your company credentials.
To use SSO:
- Go to your company's custom DocSend URL
- Enter your company email
- You'll redirect to your company's login page
- Enter your company credentials
- You'll redirect back to DocSend, logged in
Security settings
Once logged in, set up these security features:
Two-factor authentication - Settings > Security > Enable 2FA
Session timeout - Settings > Security > Session Settings
Login notifications - Settings > Notifications > Login Alerts
What to do after login
Once you're in, you'll see your dashboard with:
- Recent documents
- View analytics
- Upload button
- Team spaces (if applicable)
To upload a document, click "Upload" or drag files into the window.
To create a link, click on any document and select "Create Link."
Troubleshooting
"Invalid credentials" error - Double-check your email and password. Passwords are case-sensitive.
"Account suspended" message - Usually means payment failed. Check your billing.
Blank screen after login - Clear your browser cache. DocSend works best on Chrome.
Can't find your documents - Check if you're in the right space (personal vs team).
